On behalf of the Superior International Junior Hockey League, it is my pleasure and honour to welcome you to Fort Frances, Ontario, and the 2020 Dudley-Hewitt Cup Central Canada Junior “A” Championship.
Thank you to Fort Frances Lakers president Milt Strachan and all the members of their organizing committee for having the vision to host this prestigious event. I would also like to recognize the many committee members and all of the hard working volunteers for their dedicated efforts in planning and staging this championship tournament.
The SIJHL would also like to thank Mayor June Caul and the town of Fort Frances for their assistance in securing this event as well as our corporate sponsors and host hotels. We trust you will enjoy all that the Fort Frances–International Falls area has to offer during your stay.
Congratulations to all of the participating teams who have made the playoff journey to this point on the trail to the Canadian National Junior “A” Championship. It promises to be an exciting week of junior hockey at the Memorial Sports Centre. In closing, I would like to wish the eventual champion all the best at the 2020 Centennial Cup in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, May, 9-17.
